Utah Metal Recycling With a Heart: We Care

For 55 years, Dixie Metal Recycling and our employees have been making a real difference in the lives of the community members we serve. Because we care about St. George and St. George has been good to us, we provide support for our city and state in a variety of different ways.

Ronald McDonald House: Many local businesses, schools and individuals collect aluminum can tabs in support of this worthy organization. We purchase these tabs and 100% of the value of the aluminum goes toward helping the families of young cancer victims get affordable housing near the site of their child's treatment.

United Way: At Dixie Metal Recycling, our entire workforce both at the corporate and employee levels contributes to this organization's worthy projects. We also volunteer our time on a regular ongoing basis.

Salvation Army: Dixie Metal Recycling ranked #1 in the state during this organization's 2008 push, and we continue to support the Salvation Army.

University of Utah: Dixie Metal Recycling is proud to support the Utes by sponsoring 3-4 student scholarships yearly in the Social Behavioral Sciences Department. Go Utes!
